To Be A Teacher is To be

To be a teacher is to be Iron Man
Not just 'cause of the tech,
But ‘cause you power through each class,
Like you’re dodging every wreck.

You’re Gandalf with the wisdom,
Knowing just when to say, “You shall not pass!”
But also knowing when it’s time,
To let them through the final class.

You're Hermione with the planning,
Got those lessons down to the T.
Even when the Wi-Fi fails,
You're still slaying with Plan B.

Sometimes you’re Yoda, dropping truth bombs,
Deep, wise, and green.
(And when you’ve had no coffee,
Just as grouchy as you seem.)

But most days, you’re like Spider-Man,
Juggling a million things,
Balancing on sticky webs
Of homework, meetings, and parent flings.

Hercules with the patience,
Taming monsters, every day,
Whether it's chaos in the classroom,
Or emails in the way.

You’re part Phoenix (yes, the bird),
Rising every Monday with flair,
Even if Friday nearly broke you,
You’re still coming in prepared.

To be a teacher is to be human,
With wisdom, heart, and grace.
You go beyond, building a community,
Helping each child find their place.
